I do think DLSS 5 can be a game changer but I am skeptical about it until I see it myself. But it does changes the whole workflow of Game Dev if it can be done easily.

DLSS 5 Memes and Backlash
NVIDIA DLSS 5 Announced and Gamers are Memeing (Mezha, Pcgamer) and not happy about it
My personal take is that Nvidia is probably going to build AI Models based on this though its conspiracy. But I feel its a wait and see when its ready AI is probably here for next gen consoles too.
But interestingly some tweet and rumors that Capcom had no idea about this new tech being unveiled with Resident Evil.
Next Xbox Project Helix GDC Ecosystem
The Project Helix from Xbox was announced at this year GDC and it looks like they are going for an ecosystem play while Sony retreats from PC.
But me thinks Steam already is doing this well and beat Microsoft to it. Now if Xbox had exclusives to their ecosystem I wonder how it might play out.

Claire Obscura Uses Blueprint
Did not have time to read all the GDC news but thought this was interesting that Clair OBscur used Unreal Blueprints instead of C++. Which can be a timesaver.

Palmer Lucky talks about the games industry now is cooked and worse than before. Right now everyone is trying to extract more dollars than innovate.
““The gaming industry, like many industries, figured out what actually worked a long time ago. They figured out how to make fun games. They figured out how to make things that make people keep coming back. But it’s moved from innovation to extraction.”
